Getting here from the jinx update, I need to cleanse my soul with my baby girls （/TДT)/

So I just finished reading this in one evening and I want to share my opinion with you, before the spoilers: -do i recommend reading this ?- eh kind of it’s pretty short I finished it in a couple of hours so I’d say yes.

Now I’m gonna dive in the story so beware:
I really liked the premise, there aren’t many good horror/psychological bl so I was excited when I read the first 10 chapters; the story seemed really good and I was genuinely wondering where all the build up would lead to.
Unfortunately around mid story I wondered how that many questions would be answered, we have really just gone surface level with the MC and ML characteristics and possible motivations, the whole thing about ML that wants MC to be like he was before he lost his memory is kinda meh, just put there, I wanted to dove more into the past of the characters while the author barely gave us glimpses.
I also felt that their relationship could have been handled better.. I called their reunion way before it happened and tbh it felt kinda empty at the end (?)
I understand the message of the author of “we live in a fake society and yada yada” but that doesn’t make the story feel complete, that could have been one of the main topics discussed but it can’t be just like “it is what it is they have this curse that does this but they’re completely fine and will (probably) use it in the future”.
Give me your point for some resolution, you present me a problem but you don’t address it and I don’t feel the weight of what happened because it’s treated like it’s not a big deal by the MC “oh i actually killed people before but whatever I guess”, if the MC doesn’t care i don’t understand what the author wants us to perceive.
I feel like I expected this story to be kind of like Killing Stalking but I was left with a Walmart versione of that, and I’m sad cause this had potential but it was flawed from the first chapter bc it was the intention of the author to write it like this… and honestly I ran to the comments when I finished reading to search some kind of closure, idk it had potential but I feel like it was wasted on a story that doesn’t neither function nor deliver at the end 5/10.

Enjoyed the first season but something that really annoys me is the ML in the second one, I can understand the skit where MC goes to do consulting the pink hair dude and he gets angry…but done 3 times in a chapter it gets annoying and gives the ML a possessiveness that i really don’t like (and just with the promise of wild sex he backs down smh)

So idk I’ll pick it up in the next days bc right now it’s pretty boring (loving the second couple tho )

At this point guys the only way I hope it goes is:
-Jaehyuk keeps pushing for matches even if his shoulder is bad
-maybe or maybe not in the midst of this Dan goes away a and gets another job, or stays until the incident
-Jaehyuk shoulder gives up bc it’s all fucked up from him not taking a break and he needs to quit box for an indefinite amount of time
-Repenting arc I hope

I genuinely thought that JK would lose this match in America but maybe the author wants to drag this part out a little more…but as I stated before it’s the only way I can see it go and honestly? If it goes a different way then Dan is a freaking doormat and I will be sad

I gasped so many times in sequence my cat thought I had couple of strokes, Jesus fuckinf Christ thank you so much for this to exists cause there’s some deranged shit out in the world but this webtoon makes me forget it all ☆*:.｡. o(≧▽≦)o .｡.:*☆

I swear I love them, they’re just chefs kiss because they’re clumsy but they very well know they like each other, and the smexy tension is raising (▰˘◡˘▰)

I’m sorry but to me it was really boring, I read a lot of P w/o plot but this was not a good one, first the two protagonists don’t ever feel natural, or even slightly good together, rape as their first encounter which is a very lazy plot point and a bad one, and to top it off an ending that doesn’t feel like it.
It’s a mess and I skimmed through the sex scene because they were really boring and didn’t feel natural nor enjoyable: 1/5

So basically Jk is an asshole way more he was before for the weight thing, and to add to that Doc Dan took the drugs that were probably meant to Jk to make him have an hard time before the match ??!
But also I think that maybe Jk meant for doc to take the drug to have his way with him before the match…smh
Idk i really just hope Doc Dan makes him live thru he’ll before giving in or else this torture we’re forced to read every 10 days will be for nothing
