We start with the last panel from the previous chapter.
A large vase is shattered and Heonjae stares blankly into space murmuring "lover..."
Myeong-il comes up to him and tries to snap Heonjae out of it, once he does, Myeong-il says he's glad at least Heonjae isn't hurt.
And Myeong-il starts yelling at the guy who's yelling at Heonjae for breaking the vase.
Myeong-il helps pick up the broken pieces, and Heonjae starts apologizing, saying he was just feeling anxious about Sports Day coming up tomorrow.
---------------------------------------------
At evening, in their rooms preparing to go to bed, Myeong-il is reminded about Sports Day and remembers that Deokjae hyung (the prisoner who befriended Myeong-il with gambling) had asked about Jingi.
Myeong-il asks Jingi if he'll be joining the sports event.
Jingi is a little surprised Myeong-il initiated a conversation with him, but Jingi doesn't turn around, then nonchalantly answers that he isn't going, and tells them to just go have fun.
Myeong-il says, "Don't let me see you touching any of the stuff we win."
Jingi replies, "Oh, well you don't even look at me".
[As expected, he won't be coming...
We can't just keep staying silent like this forever, we're going to have to talk someday anyway]
Myeong-il thought while feeling how awkward it was talking to Jingi again.
[So, just hurry up and--] Myeong-il's thoughts are interrupted by the sound of Heonjae washing his face.
"ah...it's spicy... Aghh~~~~~! It burns!!!",
Heonjae yells in pain.
"Is that toothpaste!??", Myeong-il asks in concern.
Heonjae, still being so out of it, had accidentally washed his own face with a handful of toothpaste instead of soap.
"Hey! Don't wash it with water, wipe it with tissue paper!!!", Myeong-il trying to prevent Heonjae from worsening the sting of the toothpaste.
"Waaahhhh~~~~!! it's spicy~~~!!!
。:゚(;´∩`;)゚:。", Heonjae cries.
"Lol", (I think is what Jingi basically said, or like "Oh wow, look at that").
"Tissue!! (ノ`Д´)ノ", Myeong-il yells.
---------------------------------------------
After the whole fiasco, we see Heonjae lying down staring at the ceiling, with his face all red from the sting of the toothpaste.
He clings to Myeong-il who's sleeping,
"I'm anxious. I'm anxious, Myeong-il. I feel like you're going to leave me.
I don't want to lose you. You don't like him, right Myeong-il?",
Heonjae whispers crying.
Myeong-il, discomforted by the clinging in his sleep, unconsciously shifts to turn away from Heonjae to face Jingi.
Heonjae looks with an evil eye towards Jingi and says, "You promised..." (alluding to the promise Jingi made to help Heonjae win over Myeong-il).
"Fine... I'll handle it myself", Heonjae says.
---------------------------------------------
It's Sports Day, and Myeong-il is approached by Deokjae, and Myeong-il mentions that Jingi isn't going to attend.
Deokjae apologizes and says he shouldn't have asked Myeong-il to talk to Jingi for him, especially since things between them hasn't been great lately.
"Huh, how'd you know, was it that obvious?", Myeong-il asks in surprise.
"Uh. Well, see ya later." Deokjae dodges the question and leaves.
---------------------------------------------
The announcement of the list of prizes ensues. They can't bring back the prizes to their rooms here in prison, but can take it with them once they get out or they can send it to their families.
Myeong-il talks about how his house needs a new rice cooker like that.
He points to a simple floral patterned rice cooker on the table.
"I wish I could win that", Myeong-il tells Heonjae.
Heonjae clasps Myeong-il's hands in his own and says, "No! I'll win the most expensive one over there and give it to you when I get first place."
Heonjae easily wins strength games like Arm wrestling and Tug of war, getting first place in both.
But both Heonjae and Myeong-il don't know how to play soccer considering Myeong-il stopped school at middle school so he didn't get to play, and Heonjae injured his leg in high school.
---------------------------------------------
We transition to Jingi in the room by himself doing push ups. (hot btw, you should see him).
"You still in there?"
Someone talks to Jingi through the room's window. Jingi gets interrupted in his push ups, then looks up at the person.
It's Deokjae. "Myeong-il said he'd like to meet you outside. It's stuffy in that room. I came here to pass his message to you", he says.
"Why are you telling me this?", Jingi asks.
"Well, you two aren't getting along these days, right? He's been avoiding you. It looks like Myeong-il ended up in the medical tent on the sports field. Go check on him.", Deokjae tells Jingi.
"I'll handle my own business, so get lost", Jingi says irritatedly.
"Sure~ I'll go. Take it easy then... poor Myeong-il." Deokjae instigates then leaves.
Jingi, now back to being alone, wonders why Myeong-il would ask him to come to the medical tent.
"Sigh... It's pitiful, but also really annoying.
What's Myeong-il saying, calling people over like that...
Should we have sex in the medical office?", Jingi thinks to himself.
(No!! Jingi don't go! It's a trap! A honey trap!! They knew you would go if they said Myeong-il asked for you. They lured you with what you wanted most. Are they planning to kill Jingi!??)
---------------------------------------------
---------------------------------------------
Sorry I delayed this from last week. It was hard to explain what was happening without writing in all the small parts too, so it became really long since I had to include almost every scene. Translating what they said also took a while.

Truee.. I was so frustrated at that scene too. How could you abandon your older brother who's been protecting you all these years like that
But also, someone said in the Korean comments that they hope that Jingi would only get injured in the trap, that way Myeong-il would care and pay attention to Jingi later lol

Now, I just had a revelation going through some other chapters. I already posted this under someone's comment but wanted your opinion on this. In chapter 34 the Uncle's kids go to the same school as Myeonggi's siblings. Is it possible that the Uncle could somehow interact with Myeonggi's siblings? It makes me sick thinking about it but is it possible that the Uncle could find out about Myeonggi's involvement with Jingi, find out that his kids go to the same school as Myeonggi's siblings, and use them to lure Jingi into a trap. If the other prisoners were able to use Myeonggi's attachment to Jingi to lure him out then it isn't above the uncle to use Myeonggi's siblings to lure Jingi into a trap. The Uncle has already seen Myeonggi's face back when Jingi and Myeonggi went on that trip. Also, now that Heonjae is working with the Uncle he's probably going to tell him more about Myeonggi. GGGOODDD I hope I'm wrong.

Jingi is being treated like he's invisible while they were eating. He's literally drawn see-through in the panel of Myeong-il conversing with Heonjae about the Sports Competition while ignoring Jingi.
And is it me? Or are even the little animal figurines Myeong-il made, the weasel and bear, walking away from the wolf in that same panel? While the wolf can only see their backs turned to him so sad, lone wolf Jingi.

These two authors are really something else. Lmao, tbh I usually skip the Creator's note but these were pretty entertaining. I've never seen two people work on one manhwa hand in hand.
Great team work. I'm impressed they can both draw the characters similarly. And both their art styles look so hot. And of course their writing is really good too. The story, plot, and emotions are all very cinematic-like.
Spoilers!! why... Heonjae... WHY!!!

So, during the sports competition, Heonjae goes out to drink water, but overhears a conversation from inside the medical tents.
"Man, this is seriously difficult. Even though we've secretly done the work before..."
"And the fact that we have to make such a scene so it gets caught on camera... I mean, come on..."
"Is 5484 really going to come?"
"The boss said to go ahead either way. Even if he doesn't show up this time, there'll be another opportunity."
"You're handling it this time, right? Keep your weapon close when you do."
"Y-yeah... got it..."
"Keep people out of the medical tent until 5484 arrives. Just direct them to the infirmary."
In reaction to what he had just heard, Heonjae remained calm, almost indifferent.
[I see... so if hyung goes into the medical tent... he might die.]
And Heonjae, dead eyed, just continues to drink water like he came there for...
---------------------------------------------
The relay race began, and outside the racing field, in the corner of Heonjae's eye, he sees Jingi walking towards the medical tent.
But just as he saw him, Myeong-il had fallen over and scraped his knee during the race.
(Basically! This was a crucial moment for Heonjae to choose between saving his brother Jingi, or winning Myeong-il's affection...and bro chose the huzz
Heonjae ran straight into Myeong-il's arms.
...while Jingi headed into the medical tent.)
---------------------------------------------
[Why am I running...? I'm sure... it's for Myeong-il. For me... Myeong-il... I just want you to see me properly.] Heonjae thought as he ran.
But with Myeong-il injured and bleeding, Heonjae instead ditched the race, and ran towards Myeong-il to hold him.
"Wha- what's going on? Hyung, why did you come this way...?" Myeong-il asks.
"Ugh, ugh... I don't know... I just don't like Myeong-il being alone...
I'm sorry for hugging you without permission...
I'm sorry... for not being able to win anything..."
Heonjae says in apology to Myeong-il for leaving the race.
---------------------------------------------
Myeong-il and Heonjae go to get Myeong-il's wounds treated.
But as they reached the medical tent, Heonjae sees Jingi arriving there.
So, Heonjae diverts Myeong-il's attention and lies about being told that the tent was full. They change direction and go to the infirmary...
---------------------------------------------
Alone in the infirmary together, Myeong-il apologizes to Heonjae for tripping over and causing them the race, and said he knew Heonjae wanted to win first place too.
But Heonjae says he doesn't care about being in first place.
"...I just wanted to be by Myeong-il's side when he was hurt. When I was injured, I wished someone would have been there for me...
Since I chose to run to Myeong-il, I didn't win... I'm not sure if what I did was the right thing... because I would've wanted to see Myeong-il happy with the prize...
Thanks to Myeong-il, I've been able to greet people... I've been able to do many things...
Watching TV together is fun too. It's also nice when you greet me after I return from going out.
I'm really grateful. I... I liked it.
Every day, I can only think of you. That's why my head seems to have stopped working."
Heonjae said. In response, Myeong-il started, "You know... Hyung, to me--"
"I like you.
I like you, Myeong-il..."
Heonjae confessed.
It seems too early in the series for Jingi to die. I would think one of them would die closer to the end, so I hope Jingi is alright. I feel like Heonjae said "When I was injured, I wished someone would have been there for me" was low key shade towards Jingi because he's very obviously betraying Jingi. He currently feels betrayed by Jingi because Jingi is catching feelings for Myeong-IL when he promised to help Heonjae get him and he also felt betrayed by Jingi back when he was younger because he felt like Jingi abandoned him along with everybody else and wasn't there for him. Unfortunately Heongjae is super naive regarding how much Jingi truly does care about him and tries to protect him. Maybe it's because I'm bias towards Jingi, but Heonjae is pissing me off with his constant jealousy and now betrayal.
Ohhh, I didn't catch that shade. Damnn, yeah I think that's a pretty accurate psychoanalysis of Heonjae's feelings and might be the whole reason he's so detached from Jingi right now.
I'm frustrated with Heonjae, and wish that Jingi would explain himself of why he hasn't been with him all these years, but it might be too much of a horrible memory for Jingi to relive or open up about which is also sad.
That's why Myeong-il should play his role as a mediator between them or sumthin idk lol , just PLEASE fix these brothers and have a happy ending.
Thank youuuu~ Here's my delusional hopes/predictions: Jingi doesn't get injured because he's pretty damn good at fighting, he just effs up the attackers, but our MC initially misunderstands ("why is Jingi being unnecessarily violent!!") before finding out the truth (even better if Heonjae admits he overheard sth but was too worried about MC; MC calls him an idiot, with affection), they all communicate and Jingi is forgiven. Even BETTER is if Jingi gets a minor injury which MC helps treat
...I know that's never going to happen but it's fun to imagine lol. My actual prediction is the author is going to surprise us with sth impossible to predict and we're all gonna be on the edge of our seats for another 20 chapters
This is why I fucking hate heonjae, fucking dumb fuck, istg if my mans jingi gets hurt cuz of your inconsiderate psychotic annoying ass
NOOOOOAAOOAO WHAT☹☹☹☹bro if jingi dies im kms
Nooooo!! My 3p dream you know what fck it idc anymore let them die for all I care!! ( I will cry buckets even if one of them die)
Oh cmon now, the author wouldn’t just kill off one of main characters before we even know his backstory. That would be horrible writing
i didnt even know they were tryna kill him until the replies i just thought they were either gonna injure jin or themselves to set jin up and for the camera, so he can have a longer sentence
Jingi is hated in the prison. I don't know if his uncle is trying to set him up for a longer sentence or to kill him, but a lot of the inmates want Jingi dead for very good reasons. Someone tried to kill Jingi in Ch 1. It was literally Jingi and Myeong-IL's first interaction with each other in Ch 1, with Myeong-IL tackling someone before they could stab Jingi.
Oh WAIT! That first thing you said what the Uncle might be doing. Setting Jingi up for a longer sentence? Is that why the ambushers said they had to make a scene to get it caught on camera (and maybe put a weapon in Jingi's hand to incriminate him)? So, Jingi will be video recorded being violent with other inmates to increase his sentence? They can't kill him, BUT making sure Jingi never leaves prison to get his revenge on the Uncle?
Isn't being prolonged in prison what happened to Jingi's mother? Though it might've been a lie, the Mom said that she'll be out soon, but the process is just taking longer. Longer and longer, until maybe Jingi caught on that she'll never be released (unless he makes a deal with the Uncle to get her out)? Like, working for him or being in prison for him? Idk it didn't occur to me the reason they wanted it caught on camera until now, thanks for the food for thought XDD
