Meh, the revenge wasn't very satisfying for me. I'm always looking for that kick of satisfaction in these cheating stories. Something that'll make me feel that reading everything was all worth it.
It wasn't enough, ┐(‘~`;)┌ I mean it wasn't bad, but I just didn't see enough suffering nor did I see regretting.
Nah, there's too much drama in this one. I can't handle that. The other couple was toxic af, decided to skip them halfway through.
I may be bias because I only came here to see Dojin and Hye-sung, and I still think they're the best couple.
To anyone who came from "Love Is An Illusion" just to see Dojin and Hye-sung like me-- Hye-sung mostly appears in the 2nd arc around chapter 20's. He looks different because of his hair and eyebrows.
Then on chapter 38-39, 44-46 Hye-sung is in a bit of a toxic and co-dependent sexual relationship with this guy Hyun-il. But that's when he meets Dojin.
Chapter 48 is when Hye-sung looks most likely himself from LIAL, but I think the eyebrows are still different.
Chapter 49.5 cute short stories of them. (but I don't like that the straight dude friend was still allowed to get married. Bro u left her for another dude why are u forgiven??).
Chapter 50 the special crossover episode between LIAL and IYHMS where LIAL Hye-sung meets IYHMS Dojin.
Chapter 53 Hye-sung (unwillingly) sent an April Fool's message to Dojin saying that he likes him.
Even the author says they didn't plan on prolonging Dojin and Hye-sung's supposedly short side-story arc. But fans loved reading them, and LIAL ended up having way more chapters heheh. It's so cool that the spin-off got more popular. ( ¯◡¯ )
are we gonna talk about real life concepts here or for the dynamic dojin amd hyesung ?
i also know from experience that what happened was not rape, it was puplic sex yea but rape naaah . but how whould you know when you are stuck here and talking about things irrelevant to themanga loke the example you just gave me.
you know i whould but i dont think you are capable of understanding other people opinions and what they are trying to explain to you. you want me to give you evidence ? on what ? is this some crime scene and you need evidence. i have had public sex and i was not mad cause he forced it on me but because it was risky. when you are in a relationship you dont ask for every little thing or else you whouldnt be in that relationship u whould be just friends
So far, ML isn't that bad. I thought I was gonna have to buckle my shoes and get ready to tread through ML's sh*t to get through this manga. But he's really tame actually (・o・)
He's not some irredeemably brainless scummy lowlife sex-addicted vomit-inducing belly crawling worm degenerate that I was preparing myself for him to be. The comments were a bit misleading for me.
(FINISHED)
Hmmm it was okay. Exciting beginning, but it feels dragged on after the first arc. I thought it should've ended around chapter 60 or something. I HATE that the ex husband and the murderous woman had a happy ending. Like why?? A cheater is still a cheater, and an attempted murderer is still a murderer. Why are we just letting them have a happy ending as if they didn't do anything ( ರ ~ ರ)?
The only good thing was the proposal and the pregnancy at the end I guess. I would've wanted to have seen more actual romance between ML and FL instead of running around in circles and just teasing romance.
Nah, sryy. Forgiveness isn't my forte, especially since FL had to die just for ML to realize the mistake. Sure, he's the one who brought her back, but he caused her death by neglect. So, it was a slow-brewing death.
Other MLs who directly caused FLs death (probably swiftly by guillotine or sword slash) because FL was involved in corrupt families, is a bit more forgivable for me, honestly.
Because that means that those MLs never had the chance to know FL yet, she is just a stranger, just collateral damage, so those MLs causing FLs death isn't too angering.
But in this case, FL was ML's wife. Who he spent years with, who he laid with, who gave birth to his son. Why couldn't he see his mistake during those several years?why couldn't he see her suffering in that bed rotting?
When he was manipulated by the ex-fiance, did they manipulate all his sense of empathy as well?
Were your feelings for FL not strong enough to be able to look past the ex's manipulation over you? Even just one moment before she died?
Did it really have to take until FL's death just for you to take her side for once?
Anyways, the premise around the cause of FL's death is already enough to stop me from wanting ML and FL to end up together. I tried pushing through the chapters, but even with the character development, it still wasn't enough to forgive.
