Honestly, I thought I wouldn't be able to handle the plot of the whole dead husband thing but very surprisingly... I got over it?
Like, I was ready to quit after seeing that the husband was genuinely kind and loving but he wasn't the ML. Especially after his death I thought I was never going to be able to accept FL and ML's relationship.
But I ended up using a certain mindset to help me get through, as cruel and insensitive as this is going to sound, but again, this was just my way of getting over the former husband, was to think... "whatever it's his fault for going to the Himalayas when his wife told him not to ¯_(ツ)_/¯"
Ahhaha, again, it was my only way to get over his death because he was a really nice and good husband. But I wanted to read this story without feeling too guilty about him, so I came up with that mindset moving forward in the story.

Oh so you knew FL was being bullied by that saintess b*tch. I bet you just stood there and did nothing about it. I hope FL makes you suffer much much more before letting you into her life again.

I think the worst thing was not communicating with FL better, back on earth his hands and feet was practically tied up, he was a hostage on earth, how do you expect him to protect FL when he barely could protect himself from those who tried to take advantage of him, he was probably tied to some unbreakable unfair contract or oath.
that was why he was so paranoid all the time and can't show any sort of feelings for FL even if he does, because FL will become another hostage against him.
Hahahah, it ended at that random-ass scenario. It was probably originally longer, but so often Chinese manhuas get cut off early for various reasons.
