As You Wish (Seoho)
Oookay this one was an interesting read. I don't really know where to start, so i'll go with the easiest. ; the ending is reallyyy rushed lmao
So first the whole serial killer honestly felt like a subplot since it wasn't really the focus for the first 15 chapters, which is kind of half of the story. I liked Ray and Ein's relationship though, but the story was too short for what it was trying to do. Like putting a secondary character that we've seen for 3 secs are the primary antagonist ??? Huh ? If i had a nickel for each time i read a bl with that plot twist i'd have two nickels, which isn't a lot but it's already weird it happened twice
Other than that i like how the mc and ml complimented each other, i also really liked the world building, ngl i wouldnt say no at a fantasy action webtoon with a setting like that
Save Me
This was a brutal, beautiful story. It hits even harder now that i know the extent of bullying in South Korea, which because of the lax law system can be extremely intense.
(spoiler in this paragraph) One thing i'll complain about is that I feel like a lot of things were left out in the end ; is Namsoon going to be adopted by Hyeongoh's parents then ?? Tho i do feel like he might be stuck in the ward for his whole life but still, he has to have legal guardians. Also, I do feel like the relationship between the two could have been developed more, although i do get the inherent bonding in the two being twins. I just wish we'd seen more of their lifes at the end, is all. And I do feel like the blond guy was left off rather lightly, even if he was probably one of the more passive party there.
But all of that are minor complaints, the story in itself is clearly separated in two part and it's all very satisfying. Was the author bullied in high-school ? Probably, maybe
