MC was definitely an idiot for silently suffering from the servants abuse even before the OG!FL appeared in the picture, especially since it is implied (quite poorly however) that the OG!ML was in love with her this whole time. The lack of communication between those two was extremely frustrating and I could confidently say that a lot of their troubles could have been fixed a lot earlier if they had just spoken to each other directly and not through the dishonest servants.
MC's step brother is pretty crazy, I honestly thought this novel would just turn into a thriller about MC trying to escape from her psycho step brother, but alas it turns out to be a disappointing romance novel.
On one hand, the MC took forever to run away, despite knowing that her was being spied on and that her psycho step brother was close by. She had time to go shopping and to the bank?? Sorry?? Then after she escaped he finds her almost immediately. Her hiding skills are lame AF and she should fire those mercenaries she hired for protection. But maybe even if she hired an army, he would find her because I can't say she is the smartest person out there. Legit just settled into her new home and she is already thinking of opening an orphanage. I don't know how her brain functions.
