What was the most gut-wrenching, sob worthy thing you have ever read like, you couldn't breathe it hit so hard. I've been short on those recently and am looking for recommendations.

    Depends on what you are gatekeeping. And to a certain extent. Take anime for an example, you shouldn’t be allowed to call yourself a ‘weeb’ or an ‘otaku’ if you’ve only watch My Hero, or if you are only watching anime because it’s trendy now

Need help finding a manwha

Sooooo, it's a yaoi about a uke that is the iligitamate son of a powerful dude that has anoughter son(the seme) who the father loves while he hates the uke. The son/seme is a suck up to the dad. But while the son/seme treats the uke like shit the uke is infatuated with him as they are and have bebeebebeen sex partners first searingly a while. But eventually the uke has anough of the terriable treatment and plans to run away but, before that, he goes on one last trip with the seme where the seme is attacked and losses his memory then forcing the uke to go backand take care if him where the seme. this then makes the seme very possessive of him after forgetting everything thus slowly forcing the uke leave due to guilt or somthing like that, and live with a dude who was though first introduced as the seme's old lover/childhood best friend, is now portrayed as a potential lover for the uke as he is now coping throught the "loss" of the seme.

    I recently finished Saiyuki and thought it was great. It was seeing the animes (there are a few of them) out of boredom... turning to super interest ...that had me try out reading it. No romance. It is based on the tale A Journey to the West, so heavy on action. And, some surprisingly depressing as hell backstory lines.
    If you are interested in the anime, at least one of the Saiyuki series should be streaming on Netflix or Hulu still. The manga is available easily online too!

    my first finished yaoi series! it's "Haru wo Daite ita" i really like the storyline and art style, it just gives you that clingy feeling to finish reading it in one go (i finished it within 3-5 days considering it has 14 vol. i believe)

    Boys Next Door definitely! I don’t know exactly why, this manga was the one of the first ones yaoi I read, the plot is so good and so heartbreaking. But there’s this scene when the main character say “ because Lawrence’s smile is so beautiful and bright... it burn an image into my eyes ” that caught me so hard <3
