i read everything from the beginning and wow it was actually quite obvious who was who and what was going on but the story telling kept me damn immersed, i was bittersweet yet happy that gil finally got to rest in peace despite them not getting 2gether and i honestly think it should've stayed that way. overall, i am still excited for the next volume and damn i wanna gatekeep this story so so bad

I was confused though with the end of volume three after lance purified gil... so since he made a deal with the devil, gil can't die and comes back again and then with the end, lance dies?? How? I got questions.

He said something like "I waited, but he did not open his eyes." The way gil said it gave me the impression that lance had died? I don't know for sure, that's why I said I was confused.
