I don't hate Ueno as much as other commenters seem to. She escalate situations until it's serious and need to be adressed. Ueno was the one treating Nishi the most like she wasn't disabled, like she was a normal person who simply had a difficulty to hear. I like her!
For one, she's been the most honest through all of the manga. Things she likes, hates, that she's a bad person, she's been super honest.
Also when she said Nishi didn't communicate, it's not that she was pointing out she was deaf. She said she didn't even attempt to tell others what she felt. Ueno was one of the first to point out/know that Nishi was fake smiling and always put the blame on herself, never defending herself like she should have.
People who are sad Yuzuru let her beat Nishi don't understand Yuzuru knows all Nishi's bulies, and that Ueno was the one who acted the most like Nishi is independant. Sure hitting Nishi was bad, even Ueno knows that, but she was prepared to get hit as well, Nishi still has arms to hit with and defend herself (definitively not saying hitting her was ok).
So while Ueno was definitively a bitch, she's one of my favorite character and I'd love to have her as a friend.
The one I actually hate is kawai. She's improved at the end of the Manga but God was she painful to watch.

it's fun to see a story about an eating disorder, it doesn't happen very often, or is ''romanticized''. this manga really showed how being fat is something linked to the mind, more then the body. this was only one thruth of being obese, it would be nice to see other representations of fat.
With this story ark, I'm afraid uka will just try to talk to nano-chan and then be kind with her and nano-chan won't get what she deserves for making uka-chan cry.
Anyone knows other mangas like this one? with a violence theme, the uke acting powerless and seme protecting him while uke is actually badass?

All these people saying they won't forgive sooah and wishing her bad things... While it's true she's not the best person right now, if she's never had anyone on her side of course she's gonna hate everyone and act on it. Honestly if what happens between Mirae and Sooah changes her, and she learns to be a better person, then I forgive her. People wishing to change for the better should be applaused, not told to die for their past actions. Tho we don't know for now what she'll do but it makes me mad to see everyone hate on her and refuse to deal with her even after reading about her past. You people are the reason why Sooah is Sooah now don't you get it? If people aren't given a second chance then they'll never change. And I think Mirae is the type of person who'll be able to change her.

Yoseob didn't have the parents to make him learn life, just the violence. when they died he gained a monster inside him that replaced his parents, telling him what he thinks his parents would say.
Then Jaeha showed him love. that's when Jaeha started replacing his parents, aka his monster. But Jaeha didn't show him that violence was bad. So Yoseob's inner conflict got worse. He could feel both Jaeha's love and murder intents.
When Jaeha died, leaving only murder intents in Yoseob, Yoseob killed. But he didn't feel good, he needed to ask someone what that feeling was. Jaeha not being here, he transformed him like he did his parents, showing that Jaeha's been Yoseob's monster for far longer then just the end of the story.
Yoseob will never get better. He doesn't understand emotions first because of his parents then because of Jaeha. Him killing people showed he'll never trust anyone again.

Though you're right, no one else had bothered to teach Yoseob love either. Jaeha had a big heart and was truly loving and kind to Yoseob, enough to try and teach him a new concept.
That's why I consider it mostly the adults' fault especially Yoseob's biological parents.

it's like, there is a warning on chapter 11... about some disturbing things... but like, no one warned when it happened on the first chapter?
If they would have put that warning on chapter 1 it would have spoiled it as many people were shocked/surprised on what happened there. They also didn't go into details on the rape scene in the first chapter unlike chapter 11 in which they show a lot of details of what's happening to Kyungsoo
yea if they said there was a disturbing scene in chapter one then yes, it would have been a spoiler, but they could have specified before first chapter that in the manga in general there would be something. like, so we don't know to who or when it would happen. just that it is there.

Each time I see a character get a makeover they always look different yet good and like... Each time I try new clothes I just look like a different brand of potatoes... Ishimori looking cute tho.
Agreed! And then it really sucks when you find a cute outfit, but it doesn't suit your body type and you actually do end up looking like a bag of potatoes...
Luckily, I don't go shopping for clothing but maybe once or twice a year, so I don't get super depressed about not finding anything that's cute and looks good on my body.
