Honestly this is my first time commenting on the rape issue in yaoi but I just wanted to say that I don't mind it because it's fiction. Now I find it slightly annoying to see people bash a manga because of this aspect all the time but then I always remember this quote, "I disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it". Everyone has a right to express their opinion no matter how often. Ultimately I just scroll past those comments and move on with my reading.

thats just another opinion though. opinions cant be stupid, because they are not concrete or truthful. and anyway, you calling them stupid is just your opinion; all youre doing is trying to force yours onto others and degrade them. thats basically the same as bullying someone because you dont like their favorite color
i think certain opinions can be ruled out as pretty illogical, though. if I tell someone who believes the earth is flat that their opinion is wrong it doesnt mean I'm bullying them. If someone believes one race/sex/gender/etc is superior to another, their opinion is still wrong. Theyre free to have them of course but I'm not gonna be quiet about it to avoid trampling their feelings. I hope that names sense and I dont mean to offend anyone but that's just my opinion and you're free to disagree and voice your disagreement with me (haha).

the earth not being flat is truth, not an opinion. it has been proven that the earth is round, so its not their opinion, rather their belief/facts that are wrong. also i think you're mixing the definitions of opinion and morals up, because by definition an opinion cannot be wrong. you say that if someone thinks a certain type of person is better, that's not incorrect or correct because that is how they view it. opinions can be compared to sight; everyone sees things differently and no two eyes are the same. you also cant say "your vision is illogical/incorrect" because that makes no sense. there is no true or false vision, just as there is no true or false opinion because there is no one Truth to base it on. does that make sense?
i somewhat understand what you're getting at. someone's morals are a belief just like someone's opinion is a belief. morality is subjective too and yeah everyone views things differently... but what your saying is because of this, we shouldn't debate or call people out for it?? if I see someone spouting pro-nazi agendas, I'm supposed to just be like "ohh that's just their opinion!" Like I totally understand that everyone is allowed to have their own opinion... but all I'm saying is that I'm allowed to have a differing opinion and to voice that opinion. Ultimately though, so long as someone else's opinion and actions don't hurt anyone else, I really don't care all that much. But I think it would be silly for people not to be critical of other people just because we view things differently. Like that's the whole point tho thats how people learn and form new ideas, either when they come across new ones or when someone comes along to give them a different point of view to consider.

So I read this while listening to a song on Spotify and the song really fit the mood of this manga. So when I finished I checked to see what song I was listening to and it was If You Only Knew by Jaco. Such a coincidence that the title fit the manga so well!! XD
