Wholeheartedly agree but thinking from his perspective, he may think it’s reasonable to hate him.
1. He’s a product of his father affair, which I can assume was devastating for his mother, as well as his dad moving him in so it’s a constant reminder.
2. He’s dealing with a lot of pressure and the only person who helped him feel relaxed was beaten till he was scarred and nearly unconscious because the same kid you dislike told on him.
3. He spent 20+ years not allowed to love his partner yet seeing him raise the child who separated them because of him being outed during sex so he’s forced to obtain unreasonable amounts of success just to be able to be with him.
In no way am I saying his treatment to his younger brother is okay, he was just a child but I can see why he’d hate him.
i don't really think a sane person would blame a literal child , and for so long.

Yeah no sane person would but considering his literal existence is based on violence and extortion of people to make money, I don’t think we can try to understand them from a normal stand point.

Beautiful. Absolutely beautiful. Love seeing perfectly imperfect pairs like this. I especially love how drastically different they both look by the end and how their problems still aren’t really solved, yet they still desire each other. Great realism and drama in this one, it wrapped up nicely.
Reading this made me realize how rare it is for Yaoi MCs to have loving and supportive fathers. Seeing them both hug their boys was so precious.
Little glasses boy is a condescending, manipulative little sh*t from the start, I couldnt really root for them as a couple. He forces himself into the conversation that the girls are having with his friend, takes it over until they leave from the awkwardness, then tells his friend later “oh they ran off because YOU are bad at conversation” (basically making it seem like he’s the one at fault ) This is exactly the kind of move possessive lovers do to keep your self esteem low and make you feel like you can only ever rely on them. Scanned through the rest, and it seems like this nastiness is never addressed. Yikes. This is going to be a very draining relationship for the seme.
