Thought this was cute at first, but as the story continued, Ryota really began to irritate me. He is one of those people who’s seemingly nice, but at the same time aloof to the point of being insensitive, particularly to Saku, his childhood friend who is supposed to be his boyfriend in this story. It’s like he takes everyone’s feelings into careful, high consideration EXCEPT for his, and dismisses every concern as “he’s being childish” “he’s just an idiot” just being condescending constantly. I kind of feel bad for the guy. Also the constant intimacy interrupting was funny maybe the first two times, but after that you really start to feel turned off as a reader, and eventually don’t even care to see them together anymore. One’s trying to make an effort and is understandably frustrated, the other kind of ignores or blows off the frustration, and prioritizes everything and everyone else over their relationship. By the time they actually started having sex regularly (towards the very end) you are so over it already. Also Ryouta lied or kept quiet to Saku constantly about what he’s doing or what he’s up to, finding out things about him behind his back even going to a love hotel with the brother, getting “taught” how to give a blowjob, calling his friends to learn about rivals then lying and saying he was talking to his mother, just being secretive and sneaky. Idk. Saku wasn’t perfect and made some mistakes, but Ryouta’s type of personality just pisses me off more. Oh, and how can you call ANYONE an idiot, when you got tricked onto a plane and have been kidnapped 3 FREAKIN TIMES. I hate Ryouta. I hope the French weirdo steals Saku away

I don't think i hate him as much as you (lol) but he really got on my nerves sometimes, like he has no common sense at all. I don't think he is an irredeemable person or anything, but the way he goes about things just rub me the wrong way, is like he has to prove to Saku that he knows best all the time, like with the last kidnapping, he went to talk alone to this shady dude his bf said he hated for no good reason at all, hear me out but maybe Saku didn't like him for a reason? Or when Saku said to avoid the big brother because he was shity and there goes Ryota to the States in his quest to prove that Saku is a dumbass and shouldn't be heard ever.

I liked the story, is fluffy and nice (a little kidnappy maybe), but Ryota, my man, listen to Saku sometimes, i beg you.
