Ugh, thought this was going to be a good psychological one but no. Everyone is annoying, and the plot doesn't even make sense anymore. Character motivations/ actions are absurd. Reading became more and more tedious. Also sick of main characters being explicitly mentioned as switches or tops, only to never get the opportunity to do either ever again once they meet the seme because he’s “too good” to ever bottom. Literally what is the point of having your character be vers then? Wack. Drop

Damn I’m actually really loving this? Don’t USUALLY take interest in this kind of thing, but I guess the difference in this story versus other BLs with a mean seme is that in this one, the uke is actually enjoying it. A lot of authors try to do relationships of a sadistic/twisted nature and forget to make the uke get off on it too. If it’s a sadism or rough treatment kink you’re trying to appeal to, you have to make it look like more than just straight up abuse or else there’s no point. This author gets it.
