If you’re such a grumpy and detached person that your friends have to “explain” your personality to your potential partner or speak on your behalf to make you seem like a better person, that’s not good. In the end, he doesn’t stop him from doing what he loves to do. Usually in comics like this, one person gets too jealous so the other has to stop stripping or doing sex work, but here it’s shown in a positive light as something that is actually being enjoyed as a legit job. They worked out some compromises, and seme even gets to support behind the scenes. It just feels refreshing.
