Yes, exactly! The only thing I'm slightly iffy about is whether the chairman assaulted only the oldest brother or the middle brother too before minjae arrived. But there really seems to be incestuous vibes between them as well.

Yes! I was wondering that as well?? It seems possible that the middle brother (black haired) may NOT have been m*lested like the other two, as he seems to be the most level headed of the three, yet also kind of obvious? If this is the case, it makes me wonder if it’s possible that he is actually the only biological child. I’ve heard cases of people adopting children and abusing/ molesting them while never laying a hand on their biological kids. Whichever the case, it ain’t pretty. This is gonna get bumpy

Yes, I've heard of that too unfortunately! I'm wondering if junghyuk is completely unaware of everything which would explain his behavior and feelings towards minjae and also why jungwoo wants minjae to continue keeping it a secret. Also it's hard to tell in a medium like this because it could just be art style or the fact that irl siblings don't always look alike, but it just seems like jungwoo and junghyuk have very different looks all around. Hair color, height, build, eyes, etc. I had been thinking maybe they're half siblings or even cousins where one was taken in by the disgusting chairman. I'm also super curious about jungwoos health problems. The way he seemed to cope with his csa is avoidance and completely blaming himself (and minjae), so I wonder if his health problems are physical and/or mental health related to the abuse and trauma. This is gearing up to be a really rough story. I know that jungwoo and junghyuk seem like antagonists right now but I do feel for them and their upbringing/trauma so I'm kinda hoping they get better and the true antagonist is the chairman because he's obviously evil and deserves to pay for what he did.

It's so nice to finally be able to discuss this because this manhwa has had my poor brain Charlie Day from it's always sunny in Philadelphia conspiracy walling for weeks now. You're so right about them all desperately needing therapy. They've been through the wringer. And now Minjae is so confused by what hes feeling that hes grasping at straws to try to distance himself from taeyoung by saying he hasn't suffered even though he obviously has. It's all so messy. Mess mess mess. I love it and can't wait to see how it plays out

That's what I'm thinking too. Jungwoo seems like he really wants minjae to keep it a secret and I feel like that's because he specifically doesn't want junghyuk to know. And there was that flashback to jungwoo telling minjae that it was all their fault and that seems to be what triggered minjae to hit him. If junghyuk doesn't know about the abuse, it would make sense for him to think minjae is unhinged after that. Also I really do think the relationship between jungwoo and junghyuk is off, which makes both of their reactions even more understandable imo

What makes you think the relationship between the brothers is off? I feel like there would be more instigators atp if there really were some incest going on hmm.
My heart just really hurts for Jungwoon and especially Minjae, they're both just abused victims of rape. Jungwoon and Junghyuk need to apologize to Minjae and these three should team up. Hopefully there's isn't like a second antagonist, like for example Junghyuk

Some of their interactions have just been a little odd to me and the vibe feels off for some reason. But off the top of my head, I think of the scene with junghyuk bending down and rubbing jungwoos foot and their convo during. It could totally be brotherly or because of jungwoos health but...idk. The vibes I'm picking up could just be their trauma and jungwoo trying to keep the secret from junghyuk. For some reason it's a trope that pops up surprisingly often, so I might just be concerned for no reason due to other stories lol.

Yes weird dynamic between the brother Js aside from the weirdness with Minjae from
each of them. Sometimes there’s a survival of the fittest thing that happens in abusive situations where the only way to help oneself or someone close is to throw somebody else in front as a sacrifice so to speak. What who knew when in this story is also very ambiguous so far. But for sure the kid was lucky mr yoon kept him safe from it all, right?

Oh btw why is minjae trying to get to mr yoon?

I'm wondering if he's trying to get at the chairman to bring about his downfall since Mr Yoon is his longtime secretary and must have a lot of info

Ya, it really does seem like taeyoung lucked out by being adopted by Mr Yoon. Like he was near the chairman's family for so many years yet never knew of any of this going on. I hope Mr Yoon stays the good guy he seems to be so far. If he isn't, that'll probably be devastating for taeyoung

i know this is an old thread and this might be spoilers (so warning in advance) but i’m pretty sure the latest raw chapter confirms that the two might develop into something more than brothers (or at least the middle brother has more than brotherly feelings for the oldest) - also it’s hard for me to feel sympathetic toward the oldest brother so it’s interesting to see this perspective, ofc i know he was probably SAed and that is horrible and ofc i in no way expected the eldest, who was a child himself at the time, to intervene…. but the oldest brother is just weird and i don’t believe he has any genuine affection/intentions toward the mc…

The scene where Minjae realizes how different being held by someone who genuinely cares about him feels compared to when Jungwoo came in his room and held him comes to mind when I read your last sentence. It's like Minjae realized that what he thought was comfort and connection was actually just Jungwoo being relieved that he wasn't the only one/maybe the start of Minjaes abuse marked the end of Jungwoos. They were all in a really horrible situation and have been left with such deep trauma that I do find myself empathizing with them even when they do things I think they shouldn't. However, their trauma doesn't absolve them of their wrongdoings, so depending on what else we find out about Jungwoo, I may change my mind. Earlier on in the story, a lot of commenters were (imo) very harsh toward Minjae when I felt it was pretty clear that he was acting out,
often in very self-destructive ways, due to his trauma. And I feel very deeply for him and hope he can heal, but still what he did to Taeyoung during the maid costume scene was wrong (also that early scene when they first met as adults) and he shouldn't get a pass for causing harm just because he'd been harmed in the past. Anyway, all that's to say I feel for what they've been through but that doesn't mean that they shouldn't face repercussions for the harm they're cause. And Jungwoo and Junghyuk could go either way for me depending on what they do next
