I was expecting some enemies to lovers where it would actually take some time and where the ml would slowly warm up to the mc and it would get more and more obvious AND THEN a big reveal and it’s like “i already started to like you a little but now even tho i’m conflicted cause wtf is going on it doesn’t really change how i feel about you other than the relief you’re still here somehow” kinda thing. Obv we’d need the little trauma healing or smth and gradual mc getting a crush, cause rn it really just seems like mc likes ml because he discovered abt ml’s crush on him… idk tbh i feel like i’m reading just cause i started and i want to finish it atp
