I need to re-read this one, but as I remember both tops have regrets but the 2nd top (not ML) is the one who really ends up groveling and pathetic. He treated the MC like absolute dog shit, all trigger warnings for all the abuse, but ends up alone with on drugs without MC.
I do remember feeling pretty satisfied, I love watching a shitty 2nd top realize they are unwanted and unnecessary 😀
