I like that Je-Oh is finding out he can't close his eyes to stuff like the chick in season one. Very similar experiences, but look at the difference in outcomes. This story's characters and characterization were always the selling point for me, interested to see where it goes!

I'm a big fan of the "watch me be happy without you revenge" sometimes. As long as it ruins the dudes life. There was one BL where the delusional asshole who thought they'd get to keep the MC around became a junkie after watching MC leave with the ML. That was very satisfactory.

well I’ve read smutty mangas/manhwas that have done revenge very well so I don’t think a book is superior over manhwas when both are just mediums to tell all kinds of story.
Notice where I said ONLY lol. No one is coming at smutty manga, I'm right here too. There's a startling lack of the *THWOP* pics in the Count of Monte Cristo though. Hence me not getting frustrated that I'm getting something here I can't get there ;)
