if you're curious about this title, there is a novel edition- and my guess as for why the comic hasn't updated, it was actually hosted/created by billibilli comics, being one of the many titles pushed for the English app. the app has ceased or been inactive as far as I know. I don't know if it being a successful English title had anything to do with the continuation of the series but this title is "complete" at 152 chapters.
a real shame after the romance aspect was picking up. hopefully this is helpful.
it means from a young age she was already exposed to sorcery, and while she had the guileless as of a kid to find the situation unfair. she still reveled in having her own mother turned into a bird and possibly having killed her mother by maintaining her form as a bird. the knights did say sorcery eventually wears off... I hope the consequences are just and satisfying.
cheers to the main couple
Yea, she was and is a total asshole from the get-go. Think back to her crazy ass villain dialogue before turning FL into a cat. She was salty bc FL was getting a "happy end" despite not "working" for it.
Now it implies lowkey that she thinks of herself as hardworking despite that work being downright selfish and harmful to others (and the work itself not being that hard by virtue of magic acting like a cheat code), + committing matricide. Basically, she doesn't feel bad about any of it.
We know what adult “Eve” looks like, and there is no doubt that our Eve is comfortable in his masculinity lol but the body type difference is too drastic. We know that in the near future what the demon lord looks like, the hair and eye color is the same, and there’s no doubt in their abilities too. But the hero is currently on his journey, the definite time in which they’ll clash is unknown - the timeline is at least skewed before any of the disasters upon towns they’ve visited.
And they’ve been hamming up the goddesses omnipotence. You folks think that the saintess snd demon lord will switch in some capacity? Though the idea of the original saintess might be a completely new character… but seeing how Gojo is taken with the idea of it being a habit, perhaps it’s the heroines habit to clutch her chest…? Dunno about you folks but I can see a petite fem!dommy.
It’s unlikely but there’s scraps to a bigger picture.
I don't like the prince, could've been better but I'm looking forward to Cedric to be the first one to be in on the secret if he can link Shae's and Maythams relationship. though not sure because of the opening.
also I agree with others sentiments that MC is a damsel out of the loop, completely unaware- not to mention it's frustrating that it's affecting us as readers.
from context clues alone, in the past 10~ish chapters the duke asked the emperor if he'll grant Clarice a temporary identity tied to him (like a recognized guarantor or guardianship)
the redhead is the empress with a former engagement to the duke. no idea why she's the one to deliver the token of Clarice's identity.
my guess for what's happen: with pressure unilaterally against the adopted son, the two that were formerly engaged was dissolved. and the duke had a more platonic perspective on their relationship. the empress has her own wishes to reach out, and it just so happens that the emperor enjoys shenanigans. (he's vain about his own beauty. has fun getting a rise. so far there is no mention of a heir between the royal couple)
