I think this would make a great drama, even if they switch it to being a Jidaigeki and not European-esque. Its nothing groundbreaking, so I feel it's way more than doable for a drama plot. I think it'd do better on screen than it does on paper (ignoring the fact I'm reading it on a screen and not an actual paperback comic. Y'all know what I mean). Acting it out can add so much more depth and emotion. I'd eat this shit up, and I know a lot of others would too. We love palace dramas lol

Groo's name is 그루 translated to Geuru. She isn't named after Despicable Me's Gru like how it reminds a lot of people of.
Looking up the word Geuru, it's a way to count trees or shrubs. Han Geuru means "raising a single tree or crop". So she made her online ID: IAMGROO123, like the famous "I am Groot" from Guardians of the Galaxy. So she's more of baby Groot than a minion lol.

If anyone actually knows Korean language, feel free to correct me. I just googled it.

I can't stand insecure characters (or people), that shit is so draining!
But I see this as Claire trying to take control of her own life bit by bit. No matter how fcking annoying it is... She'll leave on her own terms, and finish the mural she started.
Now, the part that has the potential to piss me off, if she returns to House Heather, they're gonna stomp out any bit of backbone and self worth she's JUST starting to grow. I can't watch her go 5 steps back after a half step forward. I'ma need someone to stop her ass expeditiously. I'm still trying to be patient with her, but somebody come get her and sit her ass down somewhere.
(SN: she's the type of FL that'd need a yandere to come lock her up and shower her with crazed affection bullshit, bc she's too in her head with foolish thoughts. For once, I don't want a character to run away. Girl, SAT DOWN!)

You 100% correct. And I'm very grateful for my parents and community I had growing up. My mom told us about her struggles growing up and how it still affected her well into her adulthood.
So I'm literally seeing the change in Claire, but frfr, it'll be so aggravating to see the bit of work she's put in get toppled down like a house of cards. Bc I'm rooting for her happiness.
It's more realistic that she's still struggling with this bc it won't just be "fixed" overnight. I had no issue with her heart and mind freaking out at that banquet after seeing the Trash Bucket OGML, that's so real. But I was worried she would slip back into old habits once she went "home", like many people do. But I'm happy to see she at least stood up for herself when she went back!! I was about to be pissed, but that was so satisfying. Such a leap forward.
So even if she breaks down and does the painting for them, I hope she tags it!!! Make a sneaky mark that the royal family would recognize if she points it out. Or even her own name hidden in it.
The storytelling and panels are awkward. It's very jumpy and doesn't flow. Idk if a translation issue, but it feels like someone's very first attempt at making a comic.
I agree with the other comments about the stiffness of the characters and the repetitiveness of the dialogue, especially the back and forth between the MC and the Sytem messages. It's a headache. I read up to Ch 7, and I can't continue. It's an interesting premise, but the execution isn't polished.
