No, I think it was mistranslated... People don’t use the words “he” or “she” in Korean, so I’m assuming the translator wrote “him” considering how we, as the audience, know the gender of his lover.

This is one of the best yaoi manga I've ever read: it's funny, has kind seme and uke that won't let him do, great story with lots of developments and backstories, ... This is my personal opinion tho(づ￣ ³￣)づ
