This question pops up regularly here, and I gotta say that as a gay man, it has never bothered me (and idk how many of the complainers are gay men themselves). Yeah, of course it's not realistic - most stories aren't realistic anyway. I doubt the het stories are even remotely realistic either. The world has barely any justice system as is, if we added omegaverse on top of all that it would be too much to bear, honestly at that point why even bother trying to be a law-abiding citizen if the law doesn't protect you? Time to hunt alphas for sport.   reply
