I have a question for people thinking Soo-won and Hak are siblings. Why would the late king be so pro-Hak and anti Soo-won?
Theres been so much info to the story given past couple chapters I forget most of the key facts and definitely need to reread the whole story before I form any opinions of my own but I do remember the kind pushing Hak and Yona together at the beginning and being very opposed to Soowon marrying her likely so he wouldnt be king.
I feel its much more likeyly that Hak is The kings son, especially if Yona was adopted (for being the reincarnation). Because the king favored hak in the beginning. Also the king was pushing for Yona and Hak to marry even when she was in love with soowon. If Hak and soowon where brothers why would the king be against soowon but not hak?
Also Yona being adopted would explain why she was treated like a prized jewel in the beginning. didnt the king have plans for her to marry hak? that way his bloodline/direct decendant would still rule. Hak was prob given to wind tribe to protect if he was direct decendant.
Thats just what i think anyway
She is being a bigger person right now, making the harder decision. it would be so easy and satisfying for her to stand up to them but what would that do other than incite conflict. she wants to protect her dragons think about all the war and kidnapping tht literally just happened. this is the safest option for them, she never cared about the crown or being queen. a true ruler would put aside what their history to create peace and that is what she's doing. No one is being hurt or threatened, they are telling her what to do and treating her like a little kid sure but is that is not reason to just say screw it. I absolutely hate it and she clearly hates it but putting up with it doesn't make her weaker to me at all. If anything is shows her growth as a character. Last time she was in the palace she just blindly listened and followed she had no thoughts about the politics of what was going on, it hurting her shows how much she has changed and grows as a character. She understands whats going on but she doesnt have much wiggle room right now. You have to know when to pick and fold your battles, not cooperating would make her immature in my book and could literally cause a civil war and put all of them in danger, they have a fragile truth right now. Yona is a strong character and if anything bad happened I know she would stand up to fight against it just like i know she will do what she can to turn this fix this situation. i dont think i am explaining well but i wanted to voice my positive feedback of this, they are in the royal capital she obviously isnt going to be able to control her situation much she knew tht when she agreed, to the terms. maybe other people didnt realize what tht meant idk i am hating it but its a props to the author for making me hate the situation while still loving the story and is 100% believable without making her character weaker... thats my opinion
this story has gotten so clogged with pointless dialog, basically without reading the only thing that happened was Ren saw Kyoko and Sho together and she found out Ren found out. was any of the dialog or other words important? Thats all I got from 20+ pages?
After reading the new chapter of Akatsuki no Yona I've reallly realized how much this masterpiece has dropped in my opinion.
lol how long did it take?! x'D good one, omg he still does last I read. there's no hope for any
seriously like this should win awards, its so beautiful! and I'm using that word in the highest of meanings from the art to the characters to the story plot-line and details uggh gloomps. I just melted at how adorable Yona was this chapter honestly and Jae-ha I just love how I can feel for him and his repressed feelings for Yona without it ever being mentioned or like brought to attention by another character or like made a big deal. Like I feel like not many mangaka's are capable of that level of story telling just through facial features alone to get the actual story across and not just reactions. It's beautiful! and thats just one example not to mention I forgot to mention how I love every character! I love how its not just Yona and Hak and a bunch of side characters, they actually have actual AMAZING backstories that are all worthy of their own story and I just love every one of them ugghhhh ok I dont want to be done but I am going to end this here, I love this manga so much and am not disappointed at all and dont think I'm going to be ever its just so special and beautiful and makes me so generally happy to read!
so crzy that im older than Misaki now I remember when I started he was yeeaaarrs older than me, I feel like when I reread this story now it's from a different perpective. There were so many big life happening in this story I hadnt experienced myself yet. So proud of our Misaki. I still love Junjou Romantica and wish it'd go on and on forever
same here!! it's so weird to go from thinking "wow he's a college student so cool" to "aw he's a baby... my son..." it's definitely a different perspective. i feel something like a parent's pride lol.
