It's a different situation....he welcomed the kissed without a hint of resistance (He didn't even know yet that gunner has a gun), asking if they're gonna do it right on the spot. Completely comfortable when gunner soothed him from a panic attack, reminiscing their past relationship. Look at how he just let Gunner do him.
