Actually there's not yet a scene or part of the story here in the site that explicitly said that the doctor and Hyuk's former math tutor is the same person, this actually is a spoiler? But yeah it is based on the time when the doctor looked at Hyuk's High School Album (I guess it's on chapter 9) and the way how Hyuk reacted when he saw how the doctor looked like in his teenage years.
