Instead, he stayed in his human form and lingered on Earth, watching Zeno deal with grief, love and loss all in one setting. The stay made him accustomed to his feelings and grow to nurture them, hence why he’s the only dragon that seems to be on their side. Because he knows where their heart is (to protect Yona)
