I read a manga some days ago, I don't remember the name nor the author but if I'm not mistaken it's Junji Ito's or some related mangaka. It started with a traffic accident, where the main character (who was a girl) got a really big wound in the eye and when she went to the hospital they discovered that under her skin there was no muscles or bones, it was her skin from years ago or something like that. Then her mother went mad thinking she could get back her daughter when she was cuter and then she starts to peel off her daughter's skin but the results aren't what she was expecting... at the end she thinks she has the same curse and peels off her own face. That's all I remember, I hope anyone knows the name (〜￣△￣)〜
