If anyone thinks Sejin is weak or annoying for this, they should take a step back. A lifetime of abuse can't be erased by a 2 month engagement. He's still gonna act like the traumatized person his father raised him to be. He's weak because trauma makes you WEAK not strong.
And Ido gave him no warning so he's allowed to be scared and want space from Ido, this isn't just about sympathising with his father.
