Yk, I didn't really like this story very much, but I'm falling for MC. Not Tae-oh though, that guy who would go to 'therapy' w/ some 'rando' while having feelings for MC. What MC went through had to be one of the the roughest childhoods, I can't imagine. Even when my family was in shambles, I had relatives who came through for me to put food in my mouth, helped me shower and take care of myself and everything, and they did so for like years. I mean, what intelligence, empathy+morals can we expect from an old gangster? Everyone's hating on ML but bfr. ML may be confused+hurt grappling w/ the loss of some1 he cared more about than he realised. ML's just a child going through it; MC's grown so it's different.

I love the premise of this story. It's epic to have a secret group of S-classes doing shady ish+running ish behind the scenes while pretending to be C-classes. It's fun to try+figure out what exactly they're up to. It's interesting to try+piece together MC+ML's backstories cause it seems so layered+different. What's not fun is seeing a pathetic naive MC grovel+fight for a heartless whore ML. So spineless, undignified+embarrassing. ML SH'd MC+MC fell for it. You couldn't pay me to read that.
