This is problematic w/ the ages but also w/ MC's char, not that anyone's loving ML. MC doesn't seem to care bout OGMC, where he is, what happened to him/bout truly exacting revenge on the people that drove OGMC to commit suicide. I mean, what intelligence, empathy+morals can we expect from an old gangster? Everyone's hating on ML but bfr. ML may be confused+hurt grappling w/ the loss of some1 he cared more about than he realised. ML's just a child going through it; MC's grown so it's different.
