this is the first time that im actually torn between the two semes because typically the second lead is always too void of any real depth. they paint the second lead always to be without flaws, he will not desire the mc in a “dirty” way as opposed to his “toxic seme” counterpart. the second lead is always the “obviously better choice” which is never a compelling plot line to me because it’s boring lol! but woori is different, he feels more human because we’re shown his perspective on how and why he became infatuated with mc, he actually has his own desires & moments of selfishness that he gets to act on. idk i think just shoutout to the author for giving her second lead some agency. like he’s a gentleman and he’s kind but he’s also human, he strays from “doing the right thing” all the time which i believe makes him so much more complex than most other second leads. not to mention i appreciate that both semes started getting to know the mc around the same time so it actually feels like they’re on equal playing fields. instead of the typical “second lead is the mc’s childhood friend” route. anyway even if second lead isn’t endgame i’d like to see a possible relationship between him and the idol hehe
oh this is sooooooogood
