People saying he's giving green flags all the time but he didn't have enough restraint for my liking. Also doesn't help when Lou continues to talk like he's 8 years old.
Meanwhile, Shahid has been keeping his distance when he's known to be "open". And Yesing acts like a grown man with responsibilities and talents that contribute to the "plot".

Shahid frequently has sex with whores. We literally just saw a whore go into his bath in the present day and they get it on. It's a common occurrence for Shahid, something Yesing has even complained about.
Are we surprised that it happens here. The sad part is, he's drugged out of his mind so he doesn't realize it's not just any whore but Yesing. It's pretty clear Shahid doesn't know what he did. It's also pretty clear Yesing had feelings for him before this. He tries to reason with Shahid to slow down, not stop. He's more upset about him not listening, not that he's doing it.
Shahid fucked up but he's literally under the influence of drugs AND he's known to sleep with whores regularly. It's an awful scene but I'm not seeing how this makes Shahid an awful person or makes Yesing someone who "fell in love with their rapist".

Which chapter shows Shahid having sex with others? Does he have sex out of trauma or he’s just doing it for fun? Cause I heard he agreed to date Yesing after he had his threesome and the timing feels so icky. Having a threesome right before agreeing to date someone…
And yeah yesing doesn’t like him sleeping around but shahid isn’t obligated to stop cause he isn’t committed to anyone.
Feel free to give me spoilers about yesing and shahid only. Cause I don’t plan to read till it’s finished.
He's not evil but can be cruel. I didn't see this as redeeming him but more giving context of what made him who he is.
There's nothing for him to redeem, he's playing his role. He could apologize but I see him as a man who knows words are wind, especially to someone like MC.
I enjoy seeing the lovestruck yet cautious side of him. Will make MC's betrayal actually have some hurt and not just celebration.
I hope not, broken things dont get fixed by breaking them more.
