I don't know how to say this without offending anyone. Almost a decade back there used to be abundance of both Yaoi and Shoenai of different kinds of genres and tropes. But now I can't actually find only shonenais. Last completed shonenais were like continuation of Mangas few years back. It's a good thing that sex is pretty normalised now but not all authors are good at showing Plot with sex, it's mostly pop. Kind of missing when it used to be plot heavy.

It depends but I agree and not agree at the same time because there are pretty good yaoi stories out there without the repetitive sex marathon. On the other hand, I've read yaoi with good storyline but too much sex so, dunno. I mostly skip those.
I feel like if you find manhuas instead of mangas or manhwas there will be more shounen ai bc of the Chinese restrictions

I'm finding for an old Shonenai school life manga. It had a story of dorm and how the students are living and enjoying there. Uke Ig is a new student in the school and he is new in the dorm too. And seme was his roommate. I remember one scene where the other dorm mates are making them realise about their feelings for each other. It was pretty wholesome. I have been finding it for a long time. Has a similar vibe to Breakfast club. Similar with "I Happened To Join A Group Of Cool Guys On A School Trip" that just released too
