I prefer the one in the rain where he looks more exhausted, it fits better with plot (especially as in the latest series he ends up looking like a walking corpse).

He looks the same as ever. The author hasn't changed his looks. If he was a walking corpse before, he's still one. If he wasn't, he still isn't. Nothing has suddenly changed in S3.

Really? I think Koogi has done quite a good job of showing how mentally exhausted Sang woo is. Where in comparison, Bum is looking brighter (because he is in his eyes more valued by his "precious person"). Sang woo is more defeated, his eyes don't have the same life in them as in the first series. At the end of the day, he is mentally unwell too.

I don't understand why did Mikako has choosen a funeral wear for the festival?
:) to forever stay 20? Dunno
im p sure its because her old self died and she became kind of a new person after the entire incident
like when she talked about the new mikako that yuki called out to
It's not a festival, it's a coming of age ceremony. And all along the story, Makiko want to stay 15. The coming of age ceremony is at age 20. By doing it, she's aknowleging the fact that she's ageing, that's a real progress for her, but it's a very painefull aknowlegment. Her youth is dead and she's burring it with the proper Kimono.
