I’m wondering (genuinely, not sarcastic) what’s BL manhwa’s obsession with fate. I’ve seen a lot of stories with sudden revelation that the MC and ML had accidentally or briefly crossed path long way before the main story begin and then they reunited by fate. Don’t care tho, cos fiction is just fiction in the end, the author can write whatever. Just wondering.

Because you cannot control fate. But you can control how their actions will change the trajectory of their path towards that fate. In the end, each character will have different experiences, POVs with same outcome. The thing that makes a story is not the ending but how the characters live through the journey. That's why it's an interesting premise for a story.

Many people has defend Muheun but let me chip in as well…
Tf is grooming. I’m sure the premise of the story is they’re bounded by long fate that’s why they both felt strange closeness even at the very young age, then Muheun began to GET SCARED of it and RAN AWAY from home. He keeps his chill until the LEGAL AGE Seungjoo kissed him first. Even after that, Muheun still has HARD TIME back and forth with his conscience before accepting it fully. Not to mention during all those process, he’s doing his best TO PROTECT Seungjoo to the point even it kills him probably literally and not literally.
It ain’t sunshine and rainbow, don’t expect every BL story in this 18+ illegal site only has fluffy and upright story. Again, this is not even friggin grooming at all, see my comment above. For me personally this manhwa is quite sweet thooooo whyyyy… but I guess whatever, can think all you want, having opinion is free, but that wont change the fact I love the couple so much…
Stop reading my comment if you want to enjoy the story without being affected by what others thinking. This is my own observation, feel free to think differently. I warned you ok.
I just finished the whole novel and annoyed as hell. I like the premise so much to the point I was willing to binge-read the novel in one go. There was not a single damn development on Muhyuk at all. The dialog didn’t flow. Always dismissed after one or two sentences exchange, all characters seemed not interested talking what was on their mind and shut each other out with “I don’t wanna hear” or “shut up, you’re annoying”. A lot of questions didn’t answered and just brushed off.
Muhyuk often described as expressionless and indifferent until the end of stories. Yes he did cry but because he didn’t show emotion development throughout the story, the moment he cried just came so unnatural. The writer really pushed hard the idea of Kim Muhyuk the stongest, know-it-all and rude esper to the point I find it hard to emphatize with him cos it was really pushed til the end.
Hajung always try to find truth here and there just to realised Muhyuk always ahead of him knowing it all. There was no equal footing there. The main cause of the conflict was obsession, and Muhyuk, the supposed to be the ML, also show nothing but obsession, the irony. The moment Hajung confessed his true identity, I thought there will be a change in Muhyuk’s emotion, nope nope nope still expressionlessly do whatever he wants without proper communication with Hajung. I know the charm of a rude main character, but if it was written with no development, not just Hajung, the reader would be also kept in the dark of the intention.
I hope they at least change that in the manwha.
Yeah hope they won’t make the manhwa as annoying as the original novel
