I don't think Maxi realizes the real way war works and I know all y'all want her to "make her mark" and become the strong woman that she needs to be but, this wasn't it. Okay idk where it went but it was a red eyed young man who ran away from his family and was originally blonde with red eyes.
He died his hair black and was like a slave or something and took care of the young lady of a house. Brother and father are awful and brother is a rapist.
So much so I said I'm dropping it but the scenes where the ml and fl interact are worth the read.
She also has a arranged marriage thing happening but she then gets sent back home where she gets to see him the ml again.

I'm not understanding of how this story took such a terrible turn. The brother was raping women, the daddy and brother abusing the daughter. This man desperately wanting the fl to the point of insanity. Then the funny part is if he killed the brother, why not runaway then? Why is this dragging on? It's a bunch of unnecessary things that don't add up and it's becoming annoying.
