for some reason this pwp ending kinda fell more flat than the typical pwp ending. i love me some quick and easy to read pwps but they are capable of being satisfying all the way through the end. this one just wasn't one of those that kept the pace through the ending.

I really think their lies aren't equal. MC just boasted about being experienced when he's actually not. It's a normal thing insecure people do. Especially guys. They think lack of experience makes them look pathetic.
ML knew MC was all talk and lied to MC to take advantage of him and coerce him into sex and a relationship. MC wasn't using his lie to trick women into sex or anything. In fact, women terrified him because of his family.
ML lied to use and abuse the MC. MC lied to fit in with other guys and make friends. Those lies aren't equal at all.
This isn't even taking into account when the ML attacked the MC outside.
MC has no relationship experience. He's not familiar with navigating non-platonic interpersonal relationships. People, myself included, are like "why doesn't he just leave?" It's so obvious to us. But when you're in it, things aren't as obvious.
Not to mention, MC grew up always being treated like a nuisance and being belittled. He just wants to be accepted. Yea he went about it wrong by lying, but he believes he's someone that people won't like so he has to pretend to be someone else in order to gain something as basic and normal as companionship.
In the manga's universe all the predators can smell the MC's herbivore-ness from miles away.
It would’ve been so easy for the ending to not suck. I’m Disappointed.
