The summary makes this look good. And the rating is high. But I’m stuck at the beginning because I really don’t like how the MC is treating the cat. Does it get better or is the cat character continuously used in this way in the story?

Oh I know that one too!! They were telling their story to their daughter, right? But there’s also the megumi omegaverse manga that’s also really good. There’s also arbeno honey or something like that. The first story is about the parents as high schoolers and the sequel is about the two couple’s kids.
