I’m not too sure about any of the identifying details like names or genres, but I’ll put everything I remember. It would be super awesome if anybody knows!
I read it a few months ago, and from since the style looked pretty modern I think it was from after the 2010s. It didn’t have very many chapters, and the author had just a few other works.
My guesses for genres are tragedy and psychological.
The world of this manga was ours, in a far future. There was a cult with eye symbols, and people committed suicide often. Inside of a city there was a huge statue of a standing figure with it’s hands out in front of it, palm up.
The plot followed different character’s stories, all with an emotional support creature. The creatures were aliens and were the size of beachballs with a mop of white hair and four small horse hooves. They were on earth since the time of dinosaurs, and when touching them people spoke less. The creatures themselves didn’t speak. They were called something related to comfort I believe. There were larger aliens that would encourage people to take their support.

A depressed adult with who got a support pet and his younger brother lived together. Their parents committed suicide and the brother was worried his older brother wanted to do the same.
In another story, a young girl and her mother witnessed someone die (by falling from a building) in front of them. The girl gets a support alien and names it. Her parents are scared she’ll die too because of the pet, and she misunderstands that she’s burdening them by not going back to normal.
There were a few pages where the fluffy support aliens with horse hooves were shown as comforting dinosaurs after the great comet impact.
A young adult or teen boy and girl are shown having a good friendship and witness shit together. They talk to each other about wanting to live. There’s also a festival going on.
At the end of what I read, the larger talking aliens took the fluffy support ones into some area or other planet. Something got sucked out from their eyes (emotions from the world?), the process assisted by the large aliens. They looked strange after, wilted.
