I’m not too sure about any of the identifying details like names or genres, but I’ll put everything I remember. It would be super awesome if anybody knows! I read it a few months ago, and from since the style looked pretty modern I think it was from after the 2010s. It didn’t have very many chapters, and the author had just a few other works......
