I still think this hiatus was a bad idea of the authors. They could have probably found a compromise to not disappoint their >>paying<< fans so much. Like taking a break for a few months and then slowly starting to work on the 3rd season while doing Trinity Wonder on the side.
I do understand that it can be tiring to work on the same story for over a decade but as an artist, establishing a loyal fanbase is obviously really important. Just the views on mangago talk for themselves. The Breaker has 1490k something while Trinity Wonders only has 41k views and half the comments there are "When will you continue the 3rd Season???" or "Please stop this and do The Breaker!"
