because it involves cum and the bl is meant to be an explicit rewrite of the contendings of horus and seth. the lettuce scene in the original myth follows seth's attempt to assault horus, but it doesn't fit the tone and logic of the bl, so the author rewrites it to be a sex scene taking place after seth's attempt rather than some arbitrary salad dressing loophole. i don't see how the author is supposed to just skip over such a golden rewriting opportunity.
