Read the raws, these characters are fucked up and manipulative as hell. I gave 0 fucks ab their sob stories. If you're lookin for a good story and a good ending, this ain't it. It just left me feeling angry and disappointed, also wasted my time lol. It had potential but the author let it go to waste, and it's sad bc the art style is really good! Hopefully their next one will be better. If you want to read for the smashing, you've found right one ig
From what I could understand and saw, in the end the MC becomes the CEO by blackmailing the uke with sex tapes, so the uke gave up his company. I believe the MC did this because the uke was no longer interested in him, and more to the bodyguard/secretary (they had sex). In the extras, the uke and MC still have a toxic relationship together, having sex, and the bodyguard, who genuinely loves the uke, is disappointed and wonders why he never changed. The end. Some of the details might be wrong but that's the jist of it and who ended up with who.
Should also add that the uke had sex with other business men to do deals (which we know now). The bodyguard was very shocked to discover this, but he still stood by his side bc he loved him and hoped he'd change. However he did not, and that is why I assume the uke is still having sex with the MC, who is now in higher power than him. So 2 messed up people, who want power, end up together. The bodyguard was really done dirty, poor boy.
Wow so I actually went back to reread and actually- this was the uke's entire plan! He noticed the mc back when he attended his college speech thing (in the beginning) and wanted to play with him. The uke was the one who sent the pics of the MC having sex with his boss' daughter to his boss. So yeah uke playing him the entire time, but it backfires on him with the blackmailing thing-
Uke definitely regrets his decisions. Not only is he giving his body to the MC only, he had to give 60% of his company over to him, which is insane. Along with that, his secretary was fired and all his relationships are managed by the MC. Outside of sex time with MC he's miserable, his smiles are a facade.
I believe his secretary was his most trusted person, and he regrets snapping on him at that one day. The last thing the secretary said to him was to contact him some time. Perhaps to save him from his situation. Uke just wonders what the secretary thinks of him now and unfortunately doesn't contact him again, from embarrassment maybe for whoring out to the MC + giving his company.
What lead to the secretary walking in on them having sex in the end is that, MC knew uke would one day respond to the secretary's text about contacting him one day and running away, so he uses uke's phone to say he wanted to speak to the secretary at 10 pm in uke's hotel.
While MC and uke is having sex, it's obvious how exploitive MC is because despite uke pleading for him stop (they had 3 rounds) he does not. During sex, MC tells uke that he invited his ex-secretary, and uke is HORRIFIED. When he sees his secretary, he wants the MC to stop, but of course he doesn't. Uke is in pleasure, and he can't help it bc his body is so used to it. He definitely feels shame for the secretary seeing them.
The secretary rips a piece of paper in the end, it was the phone number of a reporter that wants to know why Uke handed over most of his company. I believe he ripped the paper to signify that he was finally over with the uke, and that he could no longer help him. It's sad because honestly, it was a misunderstanding. He probably didn't know that it wasn't the uke that texted him to come.
Sorry for it being so long, kind of ranted bc I'm sooooo angry about this!! TT
Used my basic Korean skills to read through the rest of it bc I couldn't help it aaa- I'm honestly pretty content with the ending, but so many unanswered questions and curiosity of other characters such as the step brother, and I wish it dove deeper into the (2nd couple's?) relationship were.
Also now I feel so empty now that I've read the final chapter ugh. But good series, will definitely reread some time again!
They keep foreshadowing Nico's death so obviously throughout the entire manga, and I hope that the author is just trying to mindfuck us, and in the end wont kill him off. But the most predictable thing is his death and I'm just so sad each time I read a new chapter bc we just won't know when it could happen. What if Alex and her brother want to leave everything behind and leave when they finally reunite? Nico just said he'll do whatever it takes to help her get out. What if it is his death that will ultimately set her free? Ugh I hate this.
And I love how supportive the Duke is to his wife!
I think he just doesn't care... He can still support both of them even if her business fails.
If that was the case he wouldn't have even listened to the buissness idea. The fact that he listened and even thought about the future of the buissness shows that he cares at least a little.
