I know the use of Sims in the manga seems weird and the story needs improvement, but just know that the author wants this to be taken down and we should respect that. Fun fact: Nabi means “butterfly” in Korean, but it’s also a common name for cats there. That’s why Gyuwon meowed when Hwayoung called him butterfly
That’s a tidbit I didn’t know. That might be one other reason. I do know in the novel though, Hwayoung told Gyuwon to meow for him because (this is something that gets mentioned in ch 6) he mentioned wanting to raise a big cat when he was a kid, and at the time, he didn’t know that how he described his ideal cat was actually about his ideal type.

Gah there is a word for this!!! I’m forgetting it but it describes this idea that marginalized people have to work twice as hard to be considered adequate in the workplace and get punished more for their mistakes. Like how if your a woman in the workplace you have to have a way better resume and yet sometimes you still get paid less than men for the same job.
