At this point I really don't understand why 90% of Korean manwha must be about rap*ing, imprisoning and blackmailing.
Wtf is going on in Korea??
I mean, we sure have noncon/dubcon in japanese manga, but the crudeness and cruelty I see in manwha it's on another level.

Right??
Like every time I have the opportunity I buy physical copies of BL manga i already read a million times, because I get really attached to the stories and want them on my shelf like treasures.
But I personally never ever felt the same thing for Koran manwha. I read them because I want to know how the story goes, but honestly I never felt that urge to have a physical copy of any of them..

It's actually not 90% is just that for some reason you insist on reading clearly toxic BL t'just to cry about it like a dumbass when there are TONS of other BL manhwas you could read. The cover is literally obviously toxic BL so what did you expect from such an image? Consent and rainbows? How stupid are you?
Just gtfo.

The gall of going around insulting people and then turn on reptiles. lol
I'll reply here to @Meruemshu
I literally give a try to every new BL that comes out. That ratio id realistic.
If you list 10 manwha here, at least 9 contain some sort of violence.
Also I'm not complaining about the fact that I don't like it and I don't wanna read it. I just made an observation on the dark/fluff ratio compared to other nationalities material.
My question was if there is a reason to why korean authors lean so much towards violent themes.
Last but not least, grow up and learn act like a civilized human being, you uncultured swine.

All stories are not meant to be beautiful. This is fiction AND it has trigger warnings. Although I do understand where you're coming from, and I share some of those concerns as well, please do consider that no one here is monetarily supporting the authors of any of these manhwas. And personally it took me reading fucked up shit to realize how bad my own situation was. Entirely wiping toxicity from fiction is not going to make it disappear from the real world. It might make it harder for people to put their very real situations. into words though.
What a fu*king a*shole, utterly immature piece of s*it.
I usually have absolutely no problem whatsoever with toxic characters or stories, but my hate for Jaekyung is a whole different story.
I really hate him as a character, he has absolutely no valid point to himself a part from his body. Mingwa really did a magistral job in making him the most loathsome possible. Impressive!
I couldn't agree more and I like that many others like this comment because he really is a piece of shit. I don't feel pity whatsoever. He deserves it.
