I read at some site this manga, i think it has already 40 chapters.
The uke has a friend(he treats him like a brother), so the uke admitted that he and the seme are going out to this friend.
Then the uke also said that whenever he and the seme go to a date there's always an accident(if you all notice whenever they're in a date, the uke always sees a premonition about the seme being in an accident).
When that friend heard this information, he became suspicious with the seme (the friend knows that the uke has powers) so he interrupted the date of the seme and the uke his suspicions. He discovered that the seme also has a power, he tried telling the uke that the seme also has a power but the uke didn't listen cuz he trusted the seme. He believes that the seme has genuinely loved him for who he is. ( Well too bad that ain't true)
The seme only approached the uke cuz he's interesting and special like him. The seme's past is traumatic and he became obsessed with the uke because "they're the same".
Also when the seme uses his power, he experience a side effect ( it was creepy ), he keeps seeing another version of the uke who has the exact opposite of the personality of the uke. What's worse is because when they're having sex, the seme and the other version the uke keeps talking/arguing( all i can say is that the illusion he keeps seeing is like his alter ego, inner self or maybe the darkness within him. So if we think about it, when they were having sex, it was only the uke who is making this relationship work for the seme i have no comment.

I know that you can use everything that you have to defeat your enemies but he should be fighting the other cadets using pure strength, strategy and experience to defeat them. What’s the point of all the effort he poured to become a knight when every time he faces a stronger opponent (the blondy), he always uses magic. I’m not saying it’s bad but if he really wants to surpass the wall to become a knight, he should fight like a knight. We already know that he’s very knowledgeable and talented in using magic so the story should be about him becoming the a genius “swordsman” ( magic swordsman).

For me personally, she's very kind to repay the guy for saving her. But she went to that place to help him recover his luck, not to be part of his harem. I know some people will disagree about this, but by noticing her smallest actions, you can see the hint that instead of pledging her life to help him, there's going to be a romance.
It may start by her clinging to him, and i find it annoying. In order to help him properly, she shouldn't act like that. She should be more careful and she need to have strength. But no she's the one being protected like a lover, she's weak and stupid (in her own ways).
I found this kind of MC annoying.

Every time i read this kind of manga, there's always a harem/love interest.
But this one is really disappointing, cuz sure he's strong when he activates his dragon power but nonetheless he's still weak.
He didn't even worked hard to cultivate for his family to protect them but he did that to the woman.
He saved her life, liked her but forgot the fact that their status is very different.
Maybe if he was very strong to the point that everyone will bow to him, then he doesn't to worry about status in life.
And he even won the 1st place of the literature competition, at least that proves he has a brain.

Tbh I understand. Its foolish to make everything for a women. Its disappointing too. A women who destroys u but u keep chasing like anything, I always drop such things that make no sense. Why even lust after girls? If it was me I wouldn't have given a second look to a girl who acts arrogant (I am pansexual) unlike those wuxia heroes who literally run after them.

The novel and the manga aren't the same. They changed a lot of things in the manga but the novel is more descriptive, i prefer it.

At chapter 84, we saw Jian Chen (mc) has a companion all the time with him and he's more of a swordsman/mercenary guy but in the novel he's a lone wolf and he's more of an assassin/mercenary guy.
In the manga, the amount of people he killed can't be compared to the novel. No joke.
He would kill anyone who goes against him and take their space belt ( inventory ) to take monters cores..... so when he killed the son of the leader of the number one family in wake city, a lot of people wanted to kill him to be rewarded by a very high price from the father. Well that's in novel.
But the opposite always happens, the more the merrier. He prefers that a lot of people are pursuing/chasing him, so that he can earn a lot of profit. I mean why waste his energy batttling against monsters when there are stupid humans who he can rob monster cores from after killing them.

Actually, i read the novel in order to put here what chapter is this in the novel but just like what i said the novel and the manga are very different.
In the manga you think everything is happening in an ordered time of events but no. But to answer your question it's ch.288, when Jian Chen and Ming Dong arrived at Mercenary City
But i must warn you if you go exactly at ch.288 you might not understand a lot of things so i advise you to read from ch.1.
