So I saw my previous comment and damn I finally confirmed my suspicions. So whenever I post something that may point out somethings about the manga that may be criticized by other readers, for some weird reason, after posting the comment then seeing it again, I always see my comment being “changed??!” Cuz my previous comment is longer than that but now you can only the short version of it.

So I’m just gonna say my own opinion so if you don’t agree with me just know I’m not trying to trigger anyone.
So this story started from good to average then boring. I don’t know its just that for me this is losing the “spark”.
Before when the story is still starting, I really liked this story. Every battle scenes are very precious to me, I mean this is an action manga. Then I also appreciated all the interactions the MC had with those other characters. Also loved those times when he was leveling up, explaining all those interesting infos.
But now, for some weird reason I feel like he’s leaving the “Stage” of a hunter/warrior/mage and entering the “Stage” of politics/ruler/Sovereign. I mean if he just avoided interacting with “Jessica( the American woman, i think I’m not sure anymore) then he wouldn’t have faced all those unimportant and useless situations. I really mean it, those scenes where he’s fighting the family of Jessica is really not important. I mean it can’t be avoided for him to fight other countries but the U.S. battle scenes of hunters fighting is really making the story boring. I mean the story is about fighting monsters also humans but the main plot should be with the monsters. Now it really feels like the MC is trying to be the ruler of the world. Also I would have appreciated it if they gave us a tour of the MC’s country/land/territory. They only showed us that tree who purifies the land full of death energy but they didn’t show the whole place
I have a lot to say but my hands hurts from writing so I’ll stop.

Yeah the plot was really interesting when it was focused on fighting because the author had interesting ways of presenting those fights. Once we got it into politics it became really boring really fast. It’s not interesting to see some overpowered god involve them self in politics because what makes politics interesting is that for the most part everyone is somewhat equal. Like you aren’t able to completely squash political opponents irl unless you are Putin. In this kind of story however we aren’t allowed to see the MC face any kind of compromise or learn new ideas because it makes him seem less powerful.
Another reason I think the politics of this manwha is boring is because it is not relatable or grounded in reality. Which was fine when politics and diplomacy weren’t the focus but now has become a flaw. The trump charicature and faux US military doesn’t make sense if you want to actually talk about US exceptionalism. This manwha simultaneously takes itself too seriously but also handles subjects too Willy nilly. If the author wants to talk about how overbearing the US is why not use the real US president or make up your own? That way we can have actual story tension based into that.
Why is it focused on politics but we see no mention of how he solves problems with other people? If you run a country with finite resources you have to allocate them. If we are supposed to think of him as some god king why don’t we actually talk about how he solves domestic issues.
This also ties into how boring and empty the MC feels. This is a manga aimed at men who want to feel powerful and escape from stressful life. For that reason the MC is written like a blank slate with minimal back story or character development.
Perfectly fine when the story doesn’t try to zoom in on his character... except it always fucking does. His relationship with his mom was played up by the author but obviously that felt empty because we don’t get glimpses into his emotions because he has to be an audience surrogate.
The problem with this isn’t even to do with using those techniques... you can write a story with minimal character development or politics. It’s when the manwha focuses on fighting and then tries to cross over into politics and world building that it falls apart. There is not enough baseline

I understand why you're losing interest. Probably because its genre changed from shounen adventure, which you probs expected at first, to mecha/sci-fi shounen with a dash of current world politics. Maybe you'll enjpy Solo Leveling better.
I like both genres though, especially this scifi + isekai setting so its really interesting for me, except for the politics part. But it is necessary, I think, to make the story more "realistic" in terms of human greed.

I feel all of y'all but I mostly agree with dem feler, I especially liked the development parts, like when he went to Mars and started a production base there and used the monsters summoned as workers, though I was a little conflicted like did he build them a place to sleep, how's the working conditions etc. And when he made the phone with the dwarves, I also liked that, but we never go into much detail, everything is glanced over to make him more superior in every aspect, the political thing was boring, that could've been glanced over but I think it was nesaccary because of his fame and he wanted to built a nation probably for the demi humans but he had a side that makes him feel less human, the logical side of him I suppose, like when the story began I felt more depth but since he regained his past life memories, there was a clear separation with his emotions and everything just gradually feels like achievements of how great he is.
Like I do hate those Japanese isekai with no backbone and has a harem full of useless people and the only time you see them actually using their head is in battle. I don't really like those but prefer stuff like dungeon reset, FFF-Class Trashero and legendary moonlight Sculptor but I was disappointed with the last chapter like I nevered cared about that mute bitch, she was a waste of screen time for more, red head was suspicious at first but I grew to love her. Swear it's always the long hair ones, tsk. In any case I just like judging how well things balances out like the characters, the relationships, the personality, plot development, details and explanations etc.
There was this one romance which I really liked called Lady beast or something she was a hero transferred into another body of a noble, I don't really like romance because it feels the same, a modern women from the 21st century living comfortably during a time without industrial Revolution, I can't imagine when they don't have flushed toliet, human decency, lady products (no makeup), phones. But they make little changes that improves some peoples' lives but only ever make use of a novel they read and not introducing electricity or attempting a heater or A/C. But a grown ass crybaby walks through with a sob story and woo her and she's head over heels for this typical guy and he's like you're the only one who treats me like a normal person and they just use her while pretending to be a good person, some don't even hide it and she's like but I love him. I seriously question why they come from earth because it doesn't seem like it with their lake of greed, suppose to make them look more angelic but they feel like a different species for me, how are you supposedly this strong and whatnot but seems so useless.
There are few where they do anything else besides worry about the novel they're stuck in, honestly so confused on why they're from the 21st century and can't escape wearing corsets or doing anything modern, none of them are the new icon, just boring and let me emphasize how they don't use 21st century knowledge or connect magic and science. Literally why I love this one because they actually use it together. And why I love the Villainess with the gun because she brings guns. I can honestly say that I'll probably be an antivillian if I enter the same world as those dimwits. Like I'm abolishing slavery, none of them ever do it even when they have the power to and they pretend to be nice saving some slave on street. Sorry to rant but that's one of the main reasons I love FFF-Class Trashero, he didn't get rid of slavery but he's a realist

ヾ(☆▽☆)I think the recent webtoon update is around 70 chapters, it's really good, the official English translation novel is around 107 chapters ε=ε=(ノ≧∇≦)ノ but I'm reading the Russian novel and using the Google translation and it's all the way up to chapter 256 (๑•ㅂ•)و✧ if you want the links I got you

I don’t if it’s the cause of covid or what but all of us readers for some weird reason think that the horse is hot I mean all the characters are hot or cute(depends on your taste) but the horse is even more handsome compared to other ML(or male characters, especially male characters in cultivation mangas). I even think that those trees are way more manly
I think I’m really losing my head now

I’m all excited about the story and all but GOD DAMN IT, I just want to know the whole truth about the fucking black room and those bloody hands

I saw the raws and I can tell you that next chapter, there won’t still be an explanation but i think it will be explained during chapter 45,46,47(i think) cuz in the raws there are only 44 chapters. In that chapter, the black haired guy, i think finally lost it(his head) and asked the blond guy about those bloody hands and black room cuz his teacher (the one who allowed the black haired guy to go school) was killed in an accident and he saw in the window that there are traces of blood in the grass (outside their house and inside their house, in the stairs as if someone was pulling a bloody corpse inside the house) that accident happened after his teacher visited their house. And the teacher also saw those shadows (you know the thing in the mirror) and he freaked out and ran out the house, then BOOM, in the morning, he was dead.

And in the raws, the teacher also saw the shadow before in the mirror when he visited the blond haired guy with his family ( dunno if it is his parents or his relatives that was with him) but the teacher saw the blond haired guy talking to the smiling creepily shadow in the mirror and I think it was also in the black room.

And the one thing I’m really curious of is those bloody hands can only be seen by other people(the teacher) in the mirror but how are those hands able to kill a person(the way the victims are killed is like their body exploded like a bomb and only blood is seen after the killings). And when I say that the black haired guy saw those traces of blood outside and inside of the house, he only saw them in the windows(mirrors).
HOW????! GOD DAMN IT???!!!!!

I really don’t appreciate and don’t enjoy when Lucas is with that woman.
If i have to describe her role in this whole story, she’s just an entity necessary for Lucas to reveal his emotions to the readers, his knowledge and his past memories. Like a supporting character, she’s needed to reveal hints/things to the readers and for Lucas just to have a companion really.
