Do you want to know something funny? In the US in most states the age of consent is 16, so if two kids under the age of 16 are having consensual sex they could both be sent to jail for statutory rape. Welcome to the US people are stupid
Sorry for interrupting in the conversation but Japan's age of consent isn't 13 most of the time. 13 is the official minimum age but the actual age of consent depends on the prefecture. For example, Tokyo's age of consent is 18. The government still prohibits sexual activity between adults and 13 year olds. (even between 13 and 17 year olds) They say they made the laws confusing for political reasons. I still hate it and want them to increase the age of consent tho. Arguing over consent laws aren't going to help with solving issues with media (entertainment) Authors, artists etc are going to continue that if it's popular cause it gives them more profit. Only a social change can help with such a situation.
I agree and conversation kind of ended, but that’s what I meant originally and no 13 year old (excluding that some might, but those are just weird kids) would want to have sex with someone in their 20s. But if you actually what was happening in beginning was a kid was a bikini bending down to grab something and people were complaining that it was sexualising kids when it wasn’t.
