No, Jo is 100% wrong here. It's not up to him to decide what Ian needs to do or who he should talk to. He knows close to nothing about Ian nor Tj to be making judgements and control Ian's life for him. It's just plain wrong no matter how good his intentions are. Also you're forgetting that Tj actually listened to Ian's wishes this time and left and never reached out again. He's keeping Ian safe by staying away from him because he knows he has a target on his back while also protecting him from afar.
Careful, the moment we say TJ left in part to keep Ian safe, some Jo fans go crazy like we’ve been reading a different story than they were lmfao. Never fails to amaze me.

the problem with this manga are the show updates, it makes u forget what happened so u get lost sometimes with the yakuza story .. and the a bit similar characters ain't helping :/
