As of right now there is progress but not that much. She still stutters but it isn't as bad compared in the beginning. She is able to stand on her ground, but she isn't that strong willed yet. She'll open up to ML and to her surroundings. Also, she has, I guess this is what you call an affinity for magic. That's what the wizard said.

Thank you for the infos .. I kinda dislike weak female leads and am impatient so I tend to avoid it. But the plot, arts and reviews are quite good so I think I will pick up to read after some time again. Thank you again (=・ω・=)

I read till chapter 90, nope she is till weak, though the ML became gentle she is still scared shit that the ML would abuse her.

After some point in their journey to ML mansion, the ML not so harsh anymore, but still he always say whatever he want, cause of his prejudice and inferiority complex he always assuming think and the FL didn't even bother explaining. The ML think the FL was some spoiled rich kids who love extravagance and cause of her pride the FL didn't want the ML to find out that she is treated worse that a maid in her home so she is lying. She always think she didn't have a chance to marry someone so she didn't bother to learn anything even a simple math. The ML trusted her with the mansion management and of course she screw up. Thankfully the ML subordinate came to the rescue.

In the latest arc in the novel. Maki is already making a name for herself ALL ON HER OWN.. The little caged unmotivated girl Is finally flapping her wings free. But mind you it's still a looong way to go. We'll see a lot of Maxi's weakness, I mean a lot. Her confidence is nonexistent and so is all of her other personality because of the psychological and physical abuse she took for more than a decade. The novel shows her journey on how she acquires her confidence, motivation, purpose and freedom back and how she will make her own mark so we are slowly going to see the REAL Maximilian.

Hate the father, he is the sole reason why Maximilian at the beginning is so weak. *torches up
