I've been catching up on this after leaving it to marinate (didn't expect it to end in that time LMAO) and I'm at the point where they're like "let's try to negotiate with the kings and make an alliance!!" And they got to that bug one and like handled it REALLY poorly like wtf were you thinkkingggg. Show up, face one insult and immediately start killing. Then get to the king and first start by destroying her house and beating her up and then being like "aw she doesn't wanna work with us :(" OBVIOUSLY NOT?????? Like ur just doing the same thing as every other human that comes thru there (killing all the bugs n shit) with a TINY bit of "we tried to be diplomatic!!!" Like yeah obviously they don't want to fucking work with you.

I come in peace. It's fine if you don't want to read the story but i want to clarify there really isn't any incest in the story. People are stating they aren't blood related because Naru lied and said he was Mei's uncle for a few weeks. They are just giving the clarification on that lie that he isn't Mei's uncle. Naru had no familial relationship with Mei either, only seeing him once a year for about an hour as a passing customer at Mei's family's shop. Outside of the age gap, they really are a solid couple. It's clarified early on they aren't related so as a reader, you know Naru isn't sketchy.
